Rear Window Frame Gap Dimensions

• The dimensions specified are necessary for the roof to function correctly.

• The dimensions in new vehicles may differ slightly from what is specified in the manual.

• If there are no concerns about function, noise or leaks, an adjustment is not necessary.

• When installing new components, create the same dimensions that existed before.

• Determine the gap dimensions with the setting gauge (VAS 6448).

• Only specified dimensions are on the setting gauge. Tolerances are determined with the adjustment gauge (3371).
