Main Bearing Cover Cap

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Position rear lid in service position.

- Using a small screwdriver, remove cover cap - 1 - and loosen cap - 2 - from main bearing - 3 -.

• When remove cover cap, ensure securing clip is still on the main bearing securing pins.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.
