Luggage Compartment Left Side Trim

Removing

- Position rear lid in service position.

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove floor carpet from luggage compartment.

only vehicles with 6-cylinder gasoline engine

- Remove battery covers (6-cylinder gasoline engine). Refer to => [ Battery Covers, 6-Cylinder ] Battery Covers, 6-Cylinder

All vehicles

- Remove lock carrier cover. Refer to => [ Lock Carrier Cover ] Lock Carrier Cover

- Remove luggage compartment cover. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Lid Cover ] Luggage Compartment Lid Cover

- Remove each of the three securing clips - 1 - and - 2 -.

- Open film hinge - 3 - and remove trim - 4 - from luggage compartment.

- Disconnect wiring harness from Luggage Cover Contact Switch (F364).

After wiring harness is removed from Luggage Cover Contact Switch (F364) , the roof can be opened and closed by operating Convertible Top Operation Switch (E137) (danger of squeezing).






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.
