General Description

The anti-theft alarm system functions are integrated in the Vehicle electrical system control module (J519).

The anti-theft alarm system must be adapted after the vehicle electrical system control module is replaced. Refer to=> [ Adapting Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) ] Adapting Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519).

DTC Recognition and Display

Anti-theft alarm system is equipped with On Board Diagnostics (OBD) which assists troubleshooting.

For fault finding, use the Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051BA) in the "Guided fault finding" operating mode.
