General Description

The Eos has an ultrasonic anti-theft alarm system as of 06.2011.

The anti-theft alarm system functions are integrated in the vehicle electrical system control module (J519).

The anti-theft alarm system must be adapted. Refer to => [ Replacing Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) ] Replacing Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) after the vehicle electrical system control module (J519) is replaced.

DTC Recognition and Display

Anti-theft alarm system is equipped with On Board Diagnostics (OBD) which assists troubleshooting.

The "Guided Fault Finding" function is to be used for troubleshooting of one of the systems described as in => [ Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information Systems ] Testing and Inspection.
