Windshield Wiper Motor, Installing

- Let the wiper motor run to the park position.

• Risk of crushing!

• Rotating parts can crush.

• Do not hold the removed wiper motor in an area with moving parts.

- Connect the battery, connect the connector on the wiper motor and press the switch briefly for one-touch wiping.

- Disconnect the connector from the wiper motor and disconnect the battery.

- Insert wiper motor with control module, fitting the recesses - arrows - in linkage, into wiper frame.






- Place the retaining plate - 1 - on and screw in the mounting bolts - arrows -.






- Tighten the bolts - arrows - to the specification shown in => [ Windshield Wiper System Overview ] Windshield Wiper System Overview.

- Position the motor crank - 4 - on the wiper motor shaft - 2 - so the three points illustrated - 1 -, - 2 - and - 3 - are aligned.






- Install the motor crank - 2 - on the wiper motor shaft with nut - 1 -.






- Tighten the nut - 1 - to the tightening specification shown in => [ Windshield Wiper System Overview ] Windshield Wiper System Overview.

- Push ball head - arrow - of linkage - 1 - onto motor crank.
