Headlamp Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Headlamp Washer Pump V11

The headlamp washer pump is installed at the windshield washer fluid reservoir and headlamp cleaning system in the right wheel housing.

Removing

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and move the ignition key or start button into the 0 position (preliminary engaged position).

- Loosen the front bumper cover.

- Disconnect harness connector - 1 - and pull pump - 2 - upward out of tank.






- If necessary, save the drained washer fluid in a suitable container.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Bleed headlamp washer system after completing assembly work. Refer to => [ Headlamp Washer System, Bleeding ] Procedures.

Headlamp Washer Pump (V11) can be checked via output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) of Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) => [ Output Diagnostic Test Mode ] Output Diagnostic Test Mode.
