1 Strut
2 Bolt
• The bolt point must face in the direction of travel.
• Always replace if removed.
3 Left Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G47) / Right Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G45)
• Can be checked in Guided Fault Finding using the vehicle diagnostic tester.
• Before inserting the wheel speed sensor, clean the inner surface of the bore and coat with lubricating paste (G 000 650).
4 Bolt
• M6 x 16
• 8 Nm
5 Tie Rod End
6 Wheel Hub with Bearing
• The sensor ring for the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) is installed on the wheel hub.
• There are different versions.
• Allocation, refer to the Parts Catalog.
7 Nut
• M12 x 1.5
• Tighten to 100 Nm, then loosen 180° (1/2) turn, and tighten again to 100 Nm.
• Self-locking
• Always replace if removed.
8 Brake Rotor
9 Bolt
• There are different versions.
• There are 2 types of twelve point bolts, with and without ribs.
• When installing a twelve-point bolt, always check what type of bolt is to be used.
• Use the correct tightening specification for the specific bolt.
• The tightening specification for a twelve-point bolt with ribs is 70 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn. • The tightening specification for a twelve-point bolt without ribs is 200 Nm + an additional 180° (1/2) turn. • With a bolted on brake carrier.
• If a wheel bearing housing is replaced, the vehicle must then be aligned. Refer to => [ Vehicle Alignment ] Vehicle Alignment.
14 Bolt
• M12 x 1.5 x 45
• 70 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
• Always replace if removed.
15 Drive Axle
• Removing and installing, refer to one of the following:

16 Nut
• M12 x 1.5 x 80
• 70 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
• Self-locking.
• Always replace if removed.

The contact surfaces - arrows A and B - are different on the two bolts.
