Turn Signal Bulb, HID Headlamp

• Check the left front turn signal bulb (M5) and the right front turn signal bulb (M7) using output diagnostic test mode on the vehicle electrical system control module (J519).

• The illustrations show replacing the right front turn signal bulb (M7).

• Replacing the left front turn signal bulb (M5) is identical.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and turn the key to the 0 position.

- Remove the cap - 3 - from the headlamp housing.






- Turn the handle - 1 - to the left in the - direction of the arrow - and remove together with the turn signal bulb from the headlamp.






- Press the button - arrow - on the holder and remove the turn signal bulb - 1 - forward.






Front turn signal bulb : 12V, PSY24W SV

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• During installation of the cap, ensure proper seating of the seal. It is destroyed by ingress of water into headlamp.
