Front Map/Reading Lights W13 and W19, Checking

• The following illustrations show the procedure for removing and installing the front reading lamps in a vehicle with a panorama glass roof. The same procedure is used to remove and install the front reading lamp in vehicles without the panorama glass roof.

• Lamp replacement is performed in the same way at both map/reading lights.

Removing

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and move the ignition key or start button into the 0 position (preliminary engaged position).

- Remove the front interior lamp. Refer to => [ Front Interior Lamp ] Front Interior Lamp.

- Turn light socket in direction of - arrow - and remove.






- Carefully remove bulb from socket.






- Front reading lamps: 12 V, 5 W bulb

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
