Telephone Baseplate on Instrument Panel

Removing

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

- Remove the cellular telephone from the baseplate.

- Carefully grasp the telephone mount and tip it by hand in the - direction of the arrow - as illustrated.






- Insert a suitable screwdriver into the slot - A -.

- Place a piece of cloth or felt under the blade of the screwdriver to protect the surface of the instrument panel. Pry the baseplate off the instrument panel in - direction of arrow -.






- Remove the glove compartment.

- Disconnect the connectors - arrows - from the telephone baseplate wire connections. They can be seen at left of removed glove compartment at heating and cooling cases.






- Remove the telephone baseplate and wire connections from the instrument panel.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
