Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing

• The air escapes through the vent openings in the luggage compartment trim.

• If the ventilation is to function properly, the ventilation openings must not be covered.

• The ventilation frames can be found left and right respectively in the side parts behind the bumper.

- Remove the rear bumper cover.

- Unclip the vent frame - 2 - with the (3409) from the rear cross panel - 1 -.

- Unclip the vent frame - 3 - with the (3409) from the side panel - 4 -.






Checking

- The sealing lips for the vent frame - 2 - and - 3 - must easily close on their own.

Installing

- Audibly clip the vent frame into the side panel.

- Install the rear bumper cover.
