1 from the Exhaust Manifold

2 Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter

• Overview, refer to one of the following:

Engine code CBTA, refer to => [ Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter Overview ] Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter Overview.

Engine Code CBUA, refer to => [ Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter Overview ] Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter Overview.

3 Bolt

• 23 Nm

4 Oxygen Sensor in Bank 1 Center Three Way Catalytic Converter (G465)

• 55 Nm

• Use the ring spanner 7-piece set (3337) for removal and installation.

• The threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste.

• When reusing an old oxygen sensor again, only use hot bolt paste (G 052 112 A3) to grease the threads, do not let the paste get onto the slits of the oxygen sensor body.

• If the sealing ring is leaking cut it off and replace it.

5 Oxygen Sensor after Three Way Catalytic Converter (G130)

• 55 Nm

• Use the ring spanner 7-piece set (3337) for removal and installation.

• The threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste.

• When reusing an old oxygen sensor again, only use hot bolt paste (G 052 112 A3) to grease the threads, do not let the paste get onto the slits of the oxygen sensor body.

• If the sealing ring is leaking cut it off and replace it.

6 Repair Clamp

• For individual replacement of the center and rear mufflers.

• Installed position, refer to => [ Muffler ] Muffler.

• Tighten the nuts evenly.

7 Front Tunnel Bridge

• Pay attention to the installed position.

• Mark, if necessary.

8 Nut

• 20 Nm

9 Suspended Mount

• Replace if damaged.

10 Center Muffler

• Factory installed with the rear muffler as one unit. If repairs are necessary, replace separately.

• Installing the exhaust system free of tension, refer to => [ Exhaust System, Installing ] Exhaust System, Installing.

• Separating the exhaust system. Refer to => [ Muffler ] Muffler.

11 Bolt

• 23 Nm

12 Suspended Mount

• Replace if damaged.

13 Rear Muffler

• Original equipment as one unit with the center muffler. If repairs are necessary, replace separately.

• Installing the exhaust system free of tension, refer to => [ Exhaust System, Installing ] Exhaust System, Installing.

• Separating the exhaust system. Refer to => [ Muffler ] Muffler.

14 Left Suspended Mount for the Rear Muffler

15 Rear Tunnel Bridge

• Pay attention to the installed position.

• Mark, if necessary.

16 Tunnel Exit Suspended Mount

• 23 Nm

• Install the strap on the right threaded connector point.
