ABS Mark 60 EC (ABS/EDL/ASR/ESP)
ABS Mark 60 EC (ABS/EDL/ASR/ESP), Connecting Brake Lines from Master Brake Cylinder to ABS Hydraulic Unit
Do not confuse the brake lines when connecting them to the tandem master cylinder and the ABS hydraulic unit (N55). Mark the lines in their installed position before removing them.
On Tandem Master Brake Cylinder
A Master brake cylinder primary piston circuit to the ABS hydraulic unit
Identification: Pipe bolt with thread M10 x 1
B Master brake cylinder main piston circuit to the ABS hydraulic unit
Identification: Pipe bolt with thread M12 x 1
1 ABS hydraulic unit to the left front brake caliper
2 ABS hydraulic unit to the brake caliper/left rear brake cylinder
3 ABS hydraulic unit to the brake caliper/right rear brake cylinder
On the ABS Hydraulic Unit
A ABS hydraulic unit to the master brake cylinder primary piston circuit
Identification: Pipe bolt with an M12 x 1 thread.
B ABS hydraulic unit to the master brake cylinder secondary piston circuit
Identification: Pipe bolt with thread M12 x 1
1 ABS hydraulic unit to the left front brake caliper
Identification: Pipe bolt with thread M10 x 1
2 ABS hydraulic unit to the right front brake caliper
Identification: Pipe bolt with thread M12 x 1
3 ABS hydraulic unit to the brake caliper/right rear brake cylinder
Identification: Pipe bolt with thread M10 x 1
4 ABS hydraulic unit to the brake caliper/left rear brake cylinder
Identification: Pipe bolt with thread M12 x 1
