Body Emblem: Description and Operation

General Information

• It is not possible to remove the name plates or emblem without damaging them.

• Heat the name plates or emblem before removing using the hot air blower (V.A.G 1416).

• If present, remove any remaining adhesive with the adhesive strip remover (VAS 6349) and the adhesive remover. Refer to Parts Catalog.

• Make sure there is no dust or grease on the adhesive surfaces.

• Apply the name plates or emblem immediately after cleaning.

• Only remove the protective film on the name plate or emblem right before assembly.

• The temperature must be approximately 70°F (21 °C).
