Fuel Filler Door Unit

Removing






- Remove the fuel cap.

- Roll the rubber grommet for the fuel filler door unit - 3 - off the fuel tank filler neck - 1 -.

- Remove the bolt - 2 -.

- Remove the fuel filler door unit - 3 - and water drain hose - 4 - toward the rear and out of the mounts - arrow a -.

- Finally, remove the fuel filler door unit - 3 - and the water drain hose - 4 - from the side panel - arrow b -.

Installation






- Insert the water drain hose - 4 - through opening in tank flap unit - 3 - and pull it through until it stops.

- Insert the water drain hose - 4 - between the wheel housing and the wheel housing liner in the side panel.

- Swivel the fuel filler door unit - 3 - starting on the hinge side into the side panel - arrow a -.

- Push the fuel filler door unit into the side panel - arrow b -. Make sure the hooks latch properly into the side panel.

- Tighten the bolt - 2 -.

Bolt - 2 - tightening specification: 1.5 Nm.

- Pull the rubber grommet - 3 - over the fuel tank filler neck - 1 -.

• Check correct function of unlocking components.
