• The front passenger thorax airbag crash sensor (G180) is installed on the front door subframe.

Removing

The general safety precautions for working on airbag, belt tensioner and battery cut-out units (pyrotechnic components) must be observed. - Disconnect the battery.

- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to => [ Front Door Trim ] Front Door Trim.

• Removing and installing the front passenger thorax airbag crash sensor (G180) is identical to removing and installing the driver thorax airbag crash sensor (G179). Refer to => [ Driver Side Airbag Crash Sensor G179 ] Driver Side Airbag Crash Sensor G179.
