Entry Assistance Cable B

Removing

- Remove the front seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat

- Remove the trim on the tunnel side. Refer to => [ Tunnel Side Trim ] Tunnel Side Trim.

- Move the backrest forward as far as the stop using the handwheel.

- Disengage the entry assistance cable B - 3 - for the seat forward/back adjustment- 2 -.






- Remove the entry assistance cable B eyelets - 3 - from the seat rail bolts - arrow -.

- Remove the backrest from the tunnel side.

- Remove the entry assistance cable B eyelets - 1 - from the backrest hinges - arrow -.






- Press the tabs together - arrow - and remove the entry assistance cable B - 1 - from the backrest hinges.






- Remove the entry assistance cable B - 1 - through the slits for the backrest hinges.

Installation

- Install the entry assistance cable B eyelets - 1 - first on the backrest hinge bolts - arrow -.






- Thread in and attach the entry assistance cable B - 1 - through the slits for the backrest hinges, to the point where the tabs - arrows - engage.






- Install the entry assistance cable B eyelets - 3 - on the seat rail bolts - arrow -.






- Attach the entry assistance cable B - 3 - to the seat forward/back adjustment - 2 -.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

When installing, make sure that the release cables - 1 - and - 2 - are routed as shown. Never cross the release cables!
