Cover and Front Passenger Side Instrument Panel Reinforcement

Perform the following:

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the side instrument panel cover on the front passenger side, refer to => [ Side Instrument Panel Covers ] Side Instrument Panel Covers.

- Remove the instrument cluster trim panel, refer to => [ Instrument Cluster Trim ] Instrument Cluster Trim.

- Remove the front passenger side instrument panel vent, refer to => [ Front Instrument Panel Vent ] Front Instrument Panel Vent.

- Remove the trim from the center of the instrument panel. Refer to => [ Center Instrument Panel Trim ] Center Instrument Panel Trim.

- Remove the glove compartment => [ Glove Compartment ] Glove Compartment.

- Remove the screws - 1 - (1.5 Nm).






- Remove the bolt - 2 - (1.5 Nm).

- Remove the bolts - 3 - underneath the instrument panel cover - 4 - (1.5 Nm).

- Lift off the instrument panel cover - 4 - from the instrument panel - 7 - with the trim removal wedge (3409).

- Remove the screws - 5 - (1.5 Nm).

- Remove the instrument panel reinforcement - 6 - from the instrument panel - 7 -.

Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary before installing. Replace any damaged components.
