Rear Lid Lower Adjusting Buffer, Adjusting

• The following describes adjusting the lower left adjusting buffer. Adjusting the lower right adjusting buffer is identical.

• Lower adjusting buffer is installed in the rear lid

• Removed trim panel rear lid lock.

• Remove the lock carrier cover.

- Loosen the clamping screw in the rubber buffer - 1 - until it is visible in the rubber buffer - 1 -.






- Pull the notched slider - 3 - off of the adjustment buffer - 2 -.

- Close the rear lid above the center of the main catch.

- Open the rear lid again and install the clamping screw - 1 - to a depth of - a - = 20 mm.






- Install the lock carrier cover.

- Install trim panel rear lid lock.

- Check the adjustment and repeat if necessary.
