Door Hinge Assembly Overview

• The illustration shows a right door hinge. The left door hinge is identical.

• Always replace the bolts for the door hinges after loosening. Loosening one time for adjusting the door is permissible.






1 Door

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Front Door ] Front Door

• Adjusting, refer to => [ Door Adjustment ] Door Adjustment

2 Bolt

• Always replace, loosening one time to adjust the door is permissible

• Tightening specification: 40 Nm

3 Door hinge

• The hinge has two sections.

• A bolt - 4 - attaches the upper section to the lower section.

4 Bolt

• Attaches the upper section - 3 - to the lower section - 7 -

• Tightening specification: 23 Nm

5 Cover

• Place over the bolt - 4 -

6 Bolt

• Always replace, loosening one time to adjust the door is permissible

• Tightening specification: 40 Nm

• Installed from the inside of the vehicle

• The A-pillar lower trim must be removed for removing and installing.

7 Door hinge

• The hinge has two sections.

• A bolt - 4 - attaches the lower section to the upper section.

8 Bolt

• Always replace, loosening one time to adjust the door is permissible

• Tightening specification: 40 Nm

9 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 30 Nm

10 Door strap

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Door Strap ] Door Strap

11 Bolt

• Quantity: 2

• Tightening specification: 9 Nm

12 Bolt

• Always replace, loosening one time to adjust the door is permissible

• Tightening specification: 40 Nm

• Installed from the inside of the vehicle

• The instrument panel must be removed..
