Power Adjustable Steering Column Switch: Service and Repair

Power Steering Column Switch

The power steering column switch is installed in the lower steering column trim.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove steering column trim.

- Remove both screws - 1 - and the power steering column switch - 2 - from the lower steering column trim.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten both screws to 1.5 Nm.
