Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 G648

Removing

- Remove the engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] Engine Cover.

- Remove the bolts - 1 -, loosen the bolt - 2 - and remove the turbocharger heat shield.






- Remove the connector - 4 - from the bracket and disconnect it.






- Free up the wiring guide for exhaust gas temperature sensor 4.

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Remove exhaust gas temperature sensor 4 - arrow -.






Installing

• For the correct tightening specification, refer to => [ Exhaust Sensor Overview ] Exhaust Sensor Overview.

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor 4 threads with hot bolt paste, refer to the Parts Catalog.

- Install the noise insulation.
