Removing
Hybrid vehicles have a high voltage system. Danger of electrical shock! It will also be necessary to work on the high voltage system when performing the following procedures. Switch off the high voltage system.
1 Clip
2 O-ring
• Replacing
• 23.8 mm; 2.4 mm
3 O-ring
• Replacing
• 9.5 mm; 2.5 mm
4 Screws
• 12 +/- 1.5 Nm
• Refrigerant line
5 Condenser
• Removing:
Danger due to refrigerant coming out under pressure.
Danger of frost bite to skin and other parts of the body.
• Extract the refrigerant and immediately open the refrigerant circuit after that.
• If the refrigerant was extracted more than 10 minutes in the past and the refrigerant circuit was not opened, extract the refrigerant again. Pressure in the refrigerant circuit is caused by evaporation.
• Extract the refrigerant using the (ROB 134APF).

- Remove the bumper cover.
- Remove bumper carrier.
Depending on engine, be careful of auxiliary cooler in front of condenser.
- Loosen the refrigerant lines at the bolts - 4 -.
- Loosen the clamps off the radiator mount - 1 -.
- Move the condenser off the lock carrier upward.
Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.
