Switches

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

The following switches are installed in the door sill side trim:

• Driver Seat Lumbar Support Adjustment Switch (E176)

• Driver Seat Adjustment Control Head (E470)

• Multicontour driver seat switch (E658)

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the trim on the door sill side. Refer to => [ Door Sill Side Trim ] Door Sill Side Trim.

- Use the release tool (T10236) to carefully detach the buttons - 1 - from the driver seat adjustment control head (E470) - 7 -.

- Release the latching mechanisms and detach the multicontour driver seat switch (E658) - 3 - from the trim.

- Unscrew the 2 bolts - 5 - (0.7 = / - 0.5 Nm) and remove the driver seat lumbar support adjustment switch (E176) - 4 - from the trim.

- Unscrew the 3 bolts - 6 - (0.7 + / - 0.5 Nm) and remove the driver seat adjustment control head (E470) - 7 - from the trim.

- Remove the cover - 2 - from the trim as needed.






Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
