Driver Multicontour Seat Compressor V439

Removing

- Remove seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat.

- Remove the belt latch. Refer to => [ Front Belt Latches ] Front Belt Latches.

- Remove the trim on the tunnel side. Refer to => [ Tunnel Side Trim ] Tunnel Side Trim.

- Remove the trim on the door sill side. Refer to => [ Door Sill Side Trim ] Door Sill Side Trim.

- Remove the backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest ] Backrest.

- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover ] Backrest Cover.

- Remove the cover and cushion from the backrest.

- Open the lower locking bar - 1 - on both sides of the backrest.






- Unscrew the 2 bolts - 1 - on both sides of the backrest (8 Nm) and disconnect the harness connector to the driver multicontour seat compressor (V439).






- Detach the driver multicontour seat compressor (V439) including both adjusting units - 2 - from the backrest.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
