Instrument Trim

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Use the trim removal wedge (3409) to detach the instrument trim - 1 - from the mounts in the instrument panel.






- Carefully remove the instrument trim from the instrument panel without tilting it.

- If the right vent detaches from the instrument trim, the instrument housing cover must be removed, refer to => [ Instrument Housing Cover ] Instrument Housing Cover and the vent must be removed.

- Disconnect the vent harness connectors.

- If necessary, insert the decorative ring of the vent in the instrument trim and then connect it to the vent.

Installation

11 rubber tabs are attached around the perimeter of the rear side of the trim. Prior to installation, ensure that the trim is equipped with all rubber tabs!

- Connect the vent harness connectors.

- Insert the instrument trim - 1 - in the instrument panel while ensuring the correct height of the 3 retaining tabs - 2 - and engage.
