Removing

• The illustration shows a left fender. The right fender is identical.






Perform the following:

- Loosen the rear wheel housing liner in the side panel area.

- Remove the bolt - 6 -.

- Pull the retaining hook - 5 - out of the bumper - arrows a -.

- Cut the clips - 2 - - arrows b -.

- Pull the wheel cover - 1 - down - arrow c - out of the remaining clips - 3 -.

Installing

• The description applies to the left side. It can also be applied to the right side.






Perform the following:

- Replace all cut and damaged clips - 2 - and grommets - 3 -.

- Use the centering pin - 4 - to align the cover - 1 - on the vehicle.

- Press the cover - 1 - with the clips - 2 - into the grommets - 3 - on the vehicle.

- Press the retaining hooks - 5 - into the bumper.

- Tighten the bolt - 6 -, tightening specification: 2 Nm.
