Rear Lid Lock

• If the rear lid does not open, the emergency release can be opened mechanically from the outside via the lock cylinder. Refer to Owners Manual.

Removing






Perform the following:

- Remove the rear lid trim panel..

- Pull off cover - 3 -.

- Depending on the equipment, disconnect the harness connectors - 2 and 3 - from the lid lock - 1 -.

- Remove the bolts - 4 - and the latch - 1 - from the rear lid - 5 -.

Installation






Perform the following:

- Install the lid lock - 1 - on the rear lid - 5 -.

- Tightening specifications: screws - 2 - 8 Nm + 45°.

- Depending on the equipment, connect the harness connectors - 3 and 6 - to the lid lock - 1 -.

- Slide on the cover - 3 -.

Install in reverse order of removal.

• Perform a function test on the unlocking components before closing the rear lid.
