Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings






Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings

The ID - arrow - on the bottom side of the final drive identifies which final drive is installed.

Removing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Thrust Piece (3291/1) from Assembly Device (3291)

Spindle from Assembly Device (3292)

Thrust Pieces (3348 and 3348/1) from Front and Rear Bearing Tool (3348)

Kukko Extractor 46-58 mm (21/7)

Kukko Support (22/2)

Upper Bushing:


Wear safety gloves.

To position the Kukko support (22/2) :

- Break two pieces - arrows - out of the bearing collar.






- Remove the metal core - 1 -.






- Remove the bonded rubber bushing - 1 -.






A - Kukko support (22/2)

B - Kukko extractor 46-58 mm (21/7)

Lower Bushing:

- Drive out the bonded rubber bushing - 1 - using thrust piece (3348) from front and rear bearing tool (3348) and a plastic mallet.






Installing

Lower Bushing:

- Pull the bushing far enough in until the collar contacts the entire circumference on the final drive.






Upper Bushing:

- Pull the bushing in far enough until the collar contacts the entire circumference on the final drive.
