Bonded Rubber Bushing Overview

• Replace the bonded rubber bushings in pairs (upper and lower bushings).






1 Upper Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing

• With a buffer.

• Remove the buffer for removal and installation.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings ] Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings.

2 Lower Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing

• Without a buffer.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings ] Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings.

3 Lower Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing

• Without a buffer.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings ] Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings.

4 Lower Front Bonded Rubber Bushing

• With a buffer.

• Remove the buffer for removal and installation.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings ] Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings.

5 Rear Final Drive

• Remove to replace the bonded rubber bushings, refer to the following:

Tiguan, refer to => [ Rear Final Drive ] Rear Final Drive.

6 Upper Front Bonded Rubber Bushing

• Without a buffer.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings ] Rear Final Drive Bonded Rubber Bushings.

7 Upper Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing

• With a buffer.

• Remove the buffer for removal and installation.
