Rear Bumper Cover with Trailer Hitch

• Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures of rear bumper cover, depending upon equipment installed in vehicle.

Removing






- Remove screws - 7 - in area of left and right wheel housing liner.

- Press the wheel cover - 4 - catches - 6 - from the inside out of the bumper.

- Pry out left and right expanding rivet - 5 - using a screwdriver.

- Remove bolts - 8 - from below.

- Remove the left and right bolts - 2 - under the license plate or license plate bracket.

A second mechanic is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

- Pull the rear bumper cover - 1 - out of the catches in the guide profile - 3 - - arrows -.

- Disconnect harness connectors of installed electrical components.

For additional information regarding the parking aid,

- Remove the release button bracket - 9 - out of the bumper cover - 1 - catch - 9 -- arrow c -.

- Remove the bracket downward - arrow c -.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

- Make sure gaps are parallel and note gap dimensions.
