Right Flange Shaft Seal, Outside of Bevel Box

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Thrust Piece (T10049)

Removing

The seal can be replaced with the transmission installed.

- Pry the seal out of the flange shaft with a lever.

Installing

- Install the new seal using the thrust piece (T10049).






- Fill the area between the sealing lip and dust lip - arrow - halfway with sealing grease for seal (G 052 128 A1).






- Install the right flange shaft.

- Check the oil level in the bevel box and fill, as necessary.
