Windshield Frame Seal Assembly Overview

• On vehicles with VIN through 8V016303, the seal is sealed to the windshield frame using adhesive sealing.

• On vehicles with VIN from 8V016304, the seal is bonded to the windshield frame using double-sided adhesive tape.

• On vehicles with VIN through 8V016303 or if the seal is sealed with adhesive sealant, new retaining rails must also be used.






1 Windshield wiper seal

2 A-pillar

3 Left retaining strip

4 Bolt

• Quantity: 6 per side, 11 on top

• Tightening specification: 1.5 Nm

• Check the expanding nuts for damage before tightening the bolts.
