Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench 2 to 10 Nm (V.A.G 1783)

Removing

• Removing and installing the left fender is described here. Removing and installing the right fender is identical.






- Remove the front bumper cover.

- Remove wheel housing liner. Refer to => [ Front Wheel Housing Liner ] Front Wheel Housing Liner.

- remove the fender end plate - 3 -from the wheel housing.

- Remove the bolts - 2 -.

- Remove the foam piece - 4 - from between the fender and the longitudinal member.

- Remove the fender - 1 -.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.

- Pay attention to the parallel alignment and the gap dimensions => 00 Technical data; body gap dimensions; body front
