Power Steering Pump Assembly Overview

• Always replace seals.

• Do not reuse fluid you have drained.

• Hydraulic fluid (G 004 000 M2)





1 Bracket

2 Bushing

• Drive the bushing back slightly to install the power steering pump.

3 Bolt

• 22 Nm

4 Bolt

• 9 Nm

5 Pressurized Line

• Push it all the way into the power steering pump when installing.

6 Seal

• Always replace

7 Intake Hose

• Note power steering pump location: Pay attention the installed position of the power steering pump: the marking - arrow A - must align with the marking - arrow B - on the power steering pump.

8 Spring Clamp

• Install on the marking on the intake hose.

9 Power Steering Pump

• Allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Power Steering Pump ] Service and Repair.

• Fill with oil prior to installation.

• Checking delivery pressure, refer to => [ Power Steering Pump, Checking Delivery Pressure ] Testing and Inspection.

10 Bolt

• 22 Nm

• Quantity: 3

11 Belt Pulley

12 Bolt

• 22 Nm

• Quantity: 2
