Left Rear Coolant Pipe on Transmission

Removing

- Drain the coolant. Refer to => [ Draining and Filling ] Draining and Filling.

- Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to => [ Exhaust System Components ] Exhaust System Components.

- Free up the coolant hoses - arrow -.





- Loosen hose clamp - 2 - and lift the clamp - 4 - to remove the coolant hoses.





- Free up the transmission vent hose - arrow -.

- Remove the bolts - 1 and 3 -; then remove the left coolant pipe on the back of the transmission and the coolant hoses.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Coolant Pipes Overview ] Description and Operation.

• Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type, refer to the parts catalog.

- Install the catalytic converter. Refer to => [ Exhaust System Components ] Exhaust System Components.

- Fill the cooling system. Refer to => [ Draining and Filling ] Draining and Filling.
