2 Mounting Bracket
3 Coupling Rod
• Connects stabilizer to trailing arm/wheel bearing housing.
4 Bolt
• 90 Nm + 45° turn
• Observe tightening sequence.
• Always replace after removal.
5 Trailing Arm
• Different versions.
• Note the tie rod allocation when replacing them.
6 Drive Axle
• Assembly overview
7 Bolt
• M14 x 1.5 x 45
• 70 Nm + 90° turn
• Always replace after removal.
8 Wheel Bearing Housing
9 Right Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G44)/Left Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G46)
• Can be tested in Guided Fault Finding using the Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051).
• Before inserting sensor, clean inner surface of mounting hole and coat with Polycarbamide grease (G 000 650).

11 Bonded Rubber Bushing
12 Nut
• M12 x 25
• 40 Nm
• Self-locking.
• Always replace after removal.
13 Brake Rotor
14 Bolt
• 4 Nm
15 Bolt
• 70 Nm + 90° turn
• Always replace after removal.
16 Wheel Hub with Wheel Bearing
• The ABS sensor ring is installed in the wheel bearing.
The wheel bearing and wheel hub are installed together in a housing.
• This wheel bearing/hub unit is maintenance and adjustment free. Adjusting and servicing is not possible!

18 Cover Plate

• M12 x 1.5 x 80
• 90 Nm + 90° turn
• Always replace after removal.
20 Bonded Rubber Bushing
21 Bolt
• M10 x 35
• 50 Nm + 45° turn
• Always replace after removal.
