Grip with Release Button

Removing






- Remove rear lid trim.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 6 - in the rear lid.

- Remove the hex nuts - 5 - from the rear lid button threaded bolt.

- Remove the screws - 2 - and remove the grip - 1 - from the rear lid.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors - 3 and 4 -.

The rear lid can be opened using the emergency release in the lock if there is an electrical malfunction. The emergency release is reached through an opening in the rear lid trim panel.

Installation






- Connect the electrical connectors - 3 and 4 -.

- Mount the grip - 1 - on the rear lid and tighten the hex nuts - 5 - on the button threaded pin. Tightening specification: 4 Nm.

- Connect the electrical connector - 6 - in the rear lid.

- Tighten the bolts - 2 - in the grip. Tightening specification: 2 Nm
