• The Front Passenger Side Airbag Crash Sensor is located on the front door subframe.


Follow all Safety Precautions when working on an airbag. Refer to => [ Airbags Safety Precautions ] Airbags Safety Precautions.

- Disconnect the battery.

- Remove passenger side front door trim. Refer to => [ Front Door Trim ] Front Door Trim

- Remove the front door subframe.

Removal and installation of Front Passenger Front Airbag Crash Sensor (G180) is identical to removal and installation of the Driver Side Airbag Crash Sensor (G179) and the procedure can be derived from this:
