Flexible Air Distribution Shaft

Removing

- Remove radio.

- Remove the center trim from the instrument panel for vehicles without radio. Refer to Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim.






- Move the flexible shaft in to the following position:

- Turn the switch for the air distribution control - B - until the locking mechanism on the shaft - 2 - is visible in step-up gearing - 3 -.

- Remove controls for heating and A/C system, Climatic, refer to => [ Heating and A/C Controls ] Heating and A/C Controls.

- Carefully pull out adapter for controls.

- Press in retaining tab - arrow - for flexible shaft and remove flexible shaft.






• When installing flexible shaft, adapter and rotary switch on controls for heating and A/C system, Climatic must have a specific position to each other, otherwise it will malfunction.
