Rear Parking Aid Overview





1 - Rear Parking Aid Warning Buzzer (H15)

• In the luggage compartment behind the right trim panel.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Parking Aid Warning Buzzer ] Rear Parking Aid Components.

• Adapting the rear parking aid warning buzzer volume, refer to => [ Rear Parking Aid Control Module , Adapting ] Testing and Inspection.

2 - Rear Parking Aid Control Module

• On vehicles without front PDC or parallel parking assist: behind the right side panel trim near the tail lamp.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Parking Aid Control Module ] Description and Operation.

• On vehicles with front PDC or parallel parking assist: inside the driver footwell, behind the relay carrier on the left side of the instrument panel.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module ] Front and Parallel Parking Assistance Components.

• The Parking Aid Control Module (J446) controls the parking assistance functions on vehicles equipped with parking assistance in the rear bumper cover only.

• The Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module ( J791) controls the parking assistance functions on vehicles that are also equipped with front parking aid and/or parallel parking assistance.

3 - Right Rear Parking Aid Sensor (G206)

• In rear bumper cover.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Parking Aid Sensors ] Rear Parking Aid Components.

4 - Right Rear Inner Parking Assistance Sensor (G335)

• In rear bumper cover.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Parking Aid Sensors ] Rear Parking Aid Components.

5 - Left Rear Inner Parking Aid Sensor (G334)

• In rear bumper cover.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Parking Aid Sensors ] Rear Parking Aid Components.

6 - Left Rear Parking Aid Sensor (G203)

• In rear bumper cover.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Parking Aid Sensors ] Rear Parking Aid Components.
