Safety Precautions
CAUTION!
When performing repairs on airbag and seat belt tensioner wiring harness, use only terminals, connectors and wires designated for it.
CAUTION!
Be sure to read the information regarding repairing the wiring harnesses for the airbag and pretensioner.
Observe country-specific regulations.
Pay attention to decals designating high voltage components. When performing repairs, residual voltage must be discharged.

CAUTION!
Risk of injury.
• Pay attention to decals designating high voltage components. When performing repairs, residual voltage must be discharged.
• Some tools are supplied with a tool safety clip, which is slid over the tool points after using the tool, in order to protect other workers from injuries and tool points from damage.
CAUTION!
When disconnecting and connecting the Battery ( A), the procedure must be followed as described in the Repair Information. Refer to => [ Battery A, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery A, Disconnecting and Connecting.
CAUTION!
• Observe the country-specific requirements.
• By disconnecting battery ground (GND) wire, safe work on vehicle electrical system is guaranteed. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground cable from the Battery (A). Refer to => [ Battery A, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery A, Disconnecting and Connecting.
• Before starting a repair, the cause of the damage must be eliminated first, i.e. sharp edges on chassis parts, faulty electrical components, corrosion etc.
• Prior repairs of the wiring harness are indicated by yellow wiring and areas wrapped in yellow tape.

• If possible, do not loosen grounding straps from the body (danger of corrosion).
