Removal

- Disconnect cover - 8 - from grip piece - 6 -.

- Remove the bolt - 7 -.

- Remove grip - 6 -.

- Remove bolt - 10 - from back of luggage compartment lid - 2 -.

- Remove trim - 3 - from lower lid - 2 - and on sides.





For vehicles from 12.2003

- Release black plastic pin - 1 - of lid lock mechanism - 3 - in the direction of the arrow.





- Release the plastic plug with control cable - 2 - from lid lock mechanism - 3 - in the direction of the arrow.

- Remove the plastic plug with control cable - 2 - from trim - 1 - in the direction of the arrow.





Installation

Installation is the reverse of removal.

• Before installing the trim, check the condition and seating of the clips of the trim and the plastic plug with the control cable. Replace the clips if necessary. When threading in the bolt for the grip piece, apply locking compound.
