Large Trim Lid Module Assembly Overview





1 - Trim Panel (Upper Part)

• Paint with the vehicle color

2 - Bolt

• Quantity: 5

• 3 Nm

• To remove and install the lid module, screw the side trim bolts out/in. Also observe the information regarding the side trim (convertible) during removal and installation=> [ Side Trim ] Pillar and Side Trims, Convertible.

3 - Small Roof Lid

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Small Roof Lid ] Pillar and Side Trims, Convertible

4 - Small Trim

• Trim - a - is delivered as a replacement part together with trim - b -

• Paint trim - a - the color of the vehicle

• Do not paint trim - b -!

• Removing, refer to => [ Small Trim ] Pillar and Side Trims, Convertible

• Adjusting, refer to => [ Small Trim, Adjusting ] Small Trim, Adjusting

5 - Bolt

• 1.5 Nm

6 - Trim

• Do not paint!

7 - Lid Module Main Frame

• Suitable for all components listed here.

• Removal: First remove bolt - 2 - from the side trim.

8 - Release Cable

For vehicles with power operated convertible without large flap base and flap servomotor from 06.04 to 11.04, flap servomotor is installed on right side of luggage compartment, meanwhile control head for convertible was modified for this function.
