Rear Lid Lock, Convertible
1 Rear Lid Remote Release Motor Carrier
• With lock cylinder, micro switch and foldaway handle
• Rear lid remote release motor (V151 ) can only be removed in conjunction with carrier
• Removing and installing, refer to=> [ Rear Lid Remote Release Motor Carrier ]
2 VW Emblem
• Upper part for access to handle and lock cylinder swivels
• Bolted to carrier, refer to => [ (Item 1) Rear Lid Remote Release Motor Carrier ]
• Removing:
- Remove carrier for rear lid remote release motor, refer to => [ Rear Lid Remote Release Motor Carrier ]
3 Water Drain Hose
• Attached on drain connector on carrier, refer to => [ (Item 1) Rear Lid Remote Release Motor Carrier ]
4 Rear lid
5 Lock
• Removing:
- Remove rear lid trim.
- Disconnect harness connector from lock.
- Unclip operating rod - 9 -, remove bolts - 6 - and remove lock from rear lid.
6 Bolt
• 23 Nm
7 Closure plate
• Adjusting - within elongated holes
• Removing:
- Remove cover for loading edge
- Remove bolts - 8 -.
8 Bolt
• 23 Nm
9 Operating Rod
10 Combination Bolt
• 5 Nm
Rear Lid Lock, Convertible
1 Lock
• Removing:
- Remove lid trim.
- Disconnect harness connector from lock.
- Unclip operating rod - 4 -, remove bolts - 2 - and remove lock from rear lid.

• 23 Nm

• With lock cylinder and micro switch
• Removing and installing, refer to=> [ Rear Lid Carrier with Microswitch, Convertible ] Rear Lid Carrier With Microswitch, Convertible
