4 4/2 Way Valve

• With the coolant thermostat.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ 4/2 Way Valve with Thermostat ] 4/2 Way Valve with Thermostat.

5 Coolant Pump

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Pump ] Service and Repair.

6 Cylinder Head/Cylinder Block

• Change the coolant after replacing.

7 Coolant Expansion Tank

• With cap

• Pressure relief valve in cap, checking. Refer to => [ Pressure Relief Valve in Cap, Checking ] Cooling System, Checking For Leaks.

8 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Cooler

• Change the coolant after replacing.

• Assembly overview, refer to => [ Exhaust Gas Recirculation System Component Overview ] Service and Repair.

9 Auxiliary Heater

• Depending on the vehicle equipment level.

10 Recirculation Pump (V55)

• Depending on the vehicle equipment level.

11 Heater Core

• With quick couplings

12 Transmission Oil Cooler

• Only for vehicles with a Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) or a automatic transmission.
