Driver Side Airbag Crash Sensor

• The Front Passenger Side Airbag Crash Sensor (G179) is located on the front door subframe.

Removal


Read the Safety Instructions for working with airbags, belt tensioners and battery cut-out units. Refer to => [ Airbag, Belt Tensioner and Battery Cut-Out Units General Safety Precautions ] Airbag, Belt Tensioner and Battery Cut-Out Units General Safety Precautions.

- Disconnect vehicle battery.

- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to => [ Driver Side Front Door Trim ] Driver Side Front Door Trim.

- Disconnect the wiring harness - 1 - from the Driver Side Airbag Crash Sensor (G179) - 2 -.

- Push the catch - arrow - upward with a screwdriver and remove the crash sensor from the subframe, arrows - A - and - B -.





Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

- Switch on ignition.


Make sure that no persons are in the vehicle.
