Rear Shelf

Removal

- Remove seat bench. Refer to => [ Seat Bench ] Seat Bench.

- Remove left and right side cushions:

• with rear side airbags, refer to => [ Side Upholstery with Side Airbag ] Side Upholstery with Side Airbag.

• without rear side airbags, refer to => [ Side Upholstery without Side Airbag ] Side Upholstery without Side Airbag.

- Remove C-pillar trim on left and right. Refer to => [ C-pillar Trim ] C-pillar Trim.

- Unclip belt extraction panels from rear shelf on left and right sides.

- Remove belt end fitting for rear outer seat belts on left and right sides. Refer to => [ Rear Outer Seat Belts ] Rear Outer Seat Belts.

- If installed, remove child seat anchors - 2 -. Refer to => [ Child Seat Anchors in Rear Shelf ] Service and Repair.

- Open the clip - 3 - and remove the rear shelf - 1 - - arrow A -.

- Pull rear shelf - 1 - in direction of travel - arrow B - until guide pins - 4 - is disengaged from guides in body.

- Guide belt extraction panel, seat belt latch and belt end fitting on left and right sides out of rear shelf and remove rear shelf from vehicle.





Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

• Before installing, inspect the securing clips for damage and replace if necessary.
