1 Suspension Strut
2 Tie Rod End
3 Socket Head Bolt
• Bolt point must face in direction of travel.
4 Bolt, 8 Nm
5 Left Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G47)/Right Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G45)
• Before inserting wheel speed sensor, clean inner surface of bore hole and coat with securing grease (G 000 650).
6 Cover Plate
7 Nut, 20 Nm + 90°
• M12 x 1.5
• Self-locking
• Always replace after removal.
8 Bolt, 10 Nm
9 Internally Vented Brake Disc
10 Bolt
• M16 x 1.5 x 80
• Hex head bolt = 200 Nm + 180° turn.
• 12-point bolt = 70 mm + 90° turn.
• Always replace after removal.
Vehicle must not be standing on its wheels when loosening or tightening

12 Wheel Hub with Wheel Bearing
• Sensor ring for ABS is installed in wheel hub.
• Various versions
13 Wheel Bearing Housing
• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Wheel Bearing Housing ] Wheel Bearing Housing.
• With bolted brake carrier.
• If a wheel bearing housing is replaced, vehicle must then be aligned. Refer to => [ Wheel Alignment ] Wheel Alignment.
14 Wheel Bearing Housing
• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Wheel Bearing Housing ] Wheel Bearing Housing.
• With bolted brake carrier.
• If a wheel bearing housing is replaced, vehicle must then be aligned. Refer to => [ Wheel Alignment ] Wheel Alignment.
15 Bolt, 70 Nm + 90°
• M12 x 1.5 x 45
• Always replace after removal.
16 Drive Axle
• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Drive Axle, with CV Joints VL90, VL100 and VL107 ] Drive Axle, with CV Joints VL90, VL100 and VL107.
17 Nut, 70 Nm + 90°
• M12 x 1.5
• Self-locking
• Always replace after removal.
